In 2022 May, National Red Cross Societies in Ukraine and 24 EU/EAA countries have collaborated to provide mental health and psychosocial support services to hundreds of thousands of individuals from Ukraine, as part of a regional effort to address this significant demand.
This initiative, which is funded by the European Union under the EU4Health programme, links vulnerable individuals with mental health professionals and volunteers from the National Societies.
Assistance is provided in Ukrainian and other languages through diverse platforms, including helplines, mobile outreach, and in-person group activities.
