An awareness-raising campaign on child trafficking prevention was concluded in North Macedonia.

The NGO "Luludi" concluded its public awareness campaign “Get informed! Anyone can become a victim of trafficking.” While its final conference joined together representatives from NGOs, high schools, anti-trafficking institutions, and embassies, and it discussed key recommendations on how to protect children against trafficking.

The Coordinator of the campaign, young Ines DJEMAIL informed the participants about the steps to implement public awareness. In addition, fifty-one students were involved in the production of 5 creative short videos to raise awareness of their peers about child trafficking, the videos were conducted through Social Media channels.

This campaign is to ensure compliance with the application of the recommendations of the Council of Europe Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings. NGO Luludi was awarded with a grant under the action "Preventing and Combating Human Trafficking in North Macedonia" aiming to assist beneficiaries in South-East Europe to comply with the Council of Europe standards and European Union acquis in the framework of the enlargement process.
