CartONG and Terre des hommes (Tdh) aims to develop the capacity and knowledge in information management in the aid sector, so together they have recently released this paper on Mobile Data Collection (MDC).

Based on Terre des hommes worldwide MDC project implementation experiences, the document aims to help field operations make the best use of MDC.  Key lessons are summarized form the last 5 years, showing the institutional knowledge gained as well as the experiences shared by three delegations (Iraq, Mali and Nepal). On top of these, it describes the use cases and the path taken by Tdh to scale up MDC. Finally it shows the shared vision for MDC by CartONG and Tdh for the future.
