SOS Hotline for Women and Children Victims of Violence Nikšić is organizing the Third National Webinar within the project “Improving provision of services and raising awareness to combat Trafficking in Persons in the Balkans, Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo”, funded by the US State Department through the J/TiP program. 

The webinar will be led by Mrs. Bojana Bandović, Adviser in the Supreme Court of Montenegro.

This webinar will address a topic related to human trafficking. Webinar participants will have the opportunity to hear about the criminal response of the judiciary to the problem of human trafficking as well as get acquainted with data from the Analysis of Judicial Practice for Trafficking Cases in Montenegro.

About the presenter:

presenterMrs Bojana Bandović is a lawyer with almost 13 years of experience in the area of human rights, including trafficking in human beings. Acting as the Supreme Court of Montenegro’s THB focal point, Mrs Bandović has been able to gain invaluable knowledge of international THB standards, carry out various  analyses and in cooperation with NGO and international partners, implement a range of projects regarding protection of victims of THB. Her everyday work is very much focused on how best to ensure the effective implementation of measures contained in the Convention through a human rights based and a victim-centred approach.
