When we started working in this field, returned migrants were not seen as a target group that would need support, and that everything in their lives had changed, and even more so there was no awareness that there were many vulnerable groups and vulnerable people among those who had sought asylum in the countries of the European Union.” - says Mrs. Enkelejda Kallçiu, Head of the Country Office of Terre des hommes Albania.

Already at the end of this project, financed by GIZ Albania through the "Migration for Development" program, DIMAK Albania, Terre des hommes, in cooperation with the municipalities of Kukës, Lezhë, Shkodra, Tirana, Elbasan, Fier, and Durrës, and the local partners of Nisma Arsis and Murialdo, has successfully provided safe and dignified integration for all supported families, strengthened the capacities of Child Protection workers, and empowered the youth.
