As part of the ChildHub regional initiative for Southeast Europe, a local online training for representatives of various institutions was held during October.

Over two days of training, representatives from the Centers for Social Work, Kosovo Police, Day Care Center for Children in Street Situations and various non-governmental organizations, learned about the main concepts of burnout and how this manifests itself, identified stressors and difficult situations at work, and learned new skills and techniques in stress management to increase resilience.

During the discussion, professionals stated that their main challenges include work without supervision, work with limited human resources and a lack of a structure for peer supervision/intervention. The pandemic situation has also been cited as an additional risk factor for burnout and emotional overload.
