In 2020, the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth (MASR) and Terre des hommes Albania (Tdh) published and distributed the Manual for Psycho-Social Unit Workers in Schools, which serves as a work-orienting tool. In the same year, the need to increase the number of employees of these units was also supported by the Order of the Minister of Education, Sports and Youth No. 593 for additional recruitment, a process which was carried out by bringing in new professionals to this task.

In order to support professionals in their task as employees of the Psycho-Social Unit in Schools, Tdh, in addition to organizing two-day trainings on topics based on the Work Manual of Psycho-Social Employees (May - June 2021), also organized focus group discussions in order to collect more in-depth information on the concrete needs of employees related to their work in these units. At the end of the process, the report has been shared with key actors, responsible for meeting the needs for assistance and further training of professionals.

Childhub and Terre des Hommes thanks the professionals that helped preparing it namely; Rudina Rama, Blerta Bodinaku with the support of Artemisi Shehu and Irida Agolli.
