In 2022 the ChildHub project reached its end. This interactive platform brings together 12.000 child protection professionals from Europe and beyond. Since 2015 it has become one of the region’s leading child protection platforms. WUS Austria as lead evaluator and a team of country evaluators conducted a study on ChildHub’s impact between 2015-2022 in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Moldova, Romania and Serbia. This impact study was aimed to measure the impact of ChildHub as a Community of Practice on the quality of the work of professionals who work with children in the eight project countries and who have benefitted from ChildHub activities, and to explore what impact ChildHub has had on the child protection system in the eight countries through its capacity-building efforts, including its impact on policies, structures, processes, capacities and accountability mechanisms.

During this webinar we presented the key findings, conclusions, and recommendations of this impact study which had the following main objectives of evaluation: organizational knowledge and learning; steering and ownership; accountability and credibility. The study was focused on the three main areas of impact on beneficiaries, sustainability and empowerment, and diversity and inclusion, collecting the data from the eight project countries via desk review, focus group discussions, key informant interviews, online survey.

This webinar gives you a general overview about the ChildHub project, and most importantly about its impact achieved. This provides you a great opportunity to think together about how to take further this initiative, the possible next steps for the sustainability of the ChildHub.
