The webinar will cover the introduction of the main themes covered by the Guide for Parents, developed in the frame of the REVIS – ’Responding to Violence against Children in Schools and adjacent settings’ project, with the objective to support parents in preventing and responding to peer violence among children.

Speaker:

photoMónika Rózsa is a clinical psychologist who works in the fields of psychotherapy, trauma-informed care, mental health and education. She has been trained and certified at the Child Trauma Academy in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics. As a private counselor and trainer she offers counseling on different areas, such as the development and coordination of trauma-informed institutional projects in schools and child care organizations, staff supervision and designs and delivers training courses.

Agenda:

1. Short intro about the theories behind the Info Guide’s content (why it is important to work with parents, how the parent's well-being and presence support the child's well-being)

2. How certain content parts of the Info Guide can be implemented either live or online in a "parent group" - a concrete practical proposal

3. Time for questions and discussion

There will be interpretation available from English into Bulgarian, Serbo-Croatian, Romanian for this webinar.
