Operating in Albania since 1993, Terre des hommes (Tdh) has been running projects that aim to tackle child protection issues in Albania, to prevent and protect children from all forms of abuse and exploitation through applying a holistic and systemic approach. Tdh has led and contributed to the development of tools and processes for the development of a child protection system including case management protocol, software, trainings, curricula, legal basis. Terre des hommes is currently running projects in Tirana, Fier, Korca, Shkodra and Lezha but previous recent interventions have taken place also in Elbasan and Durres.
